Community Impact Fund

Vector is committed to serving our community through grants for local non-profits. The Vector Wealth Strategies Community Impact Fund was the first corporate giving fund established with Community Foundation of Greater Huntsville in 2015. We set aside 10% of Vector’s profits each year to fund grants that focus on education, health and human services and disaster recovery. Our vision statement is: Impacting our community through investments and involvement. To learn more about each organization impacted by the fund, click on the logos below:

You may find this information helpful in applying for a grant:

Our primary objective is twofold: helping people and encouraging others to do the same. We want to invest specifically in the lives of the people we encounter every day. The charities we want to support would typically be focused in one of four categories: education, health services, human services or disaster recovery.

We give preference to, but do not limit, grants to nonprofits serving Madison County.

We prefer to offer matching or challenge grants that require other individuals to be involved in order to receive the entire grant.

The spirit of our grant is intended to be grassroots, meaning that we would like to see volunteers submitting the grant applications, telling why the organization is important to them and how they are personally involved physically and financially.

While there may be some specific programs we would consider supporting if they were within the scope of our primary objective, we do not typically provide grant money for organized athletics or churches. (Religious affiliation is not an issue)

To be eligible for a grant, an organization must qualify as a nonprofit under the 501(c)(3) tax code. Once an organization receives a grant, we do not typically reconsider them for another grant for the next three rounds of grants. That means an organization can apply every other year.
